Sunday Reset: A Simple Weekly Deep Conditioning Routine
Sunday is the natural reset day: church clothes off, meal prep done, a quiet evening before the week. It is also the perfect time to give your hair what the week took out of it. A weekly deep condition is one of the simplest habits for softer, stronger hair.

Step 1: Detangle before you wash
Section your hair and work in a pre-wash detangler like Feel It Formula Strengthening Pre-Wash Detangler. Start at the ends and work up with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Less tangling in the shower means less breakage.
Step 2: Wash gently
Use your usual shampoo or co-wash and focus on the scalp. Let the suds rinse through the lengths instead of scrubbing them.
Step 3: Deep condition
Apply a generous layer of a deep conditioner such as Camille Rose Algae Renew Deep Conditioner or SheaMoisture Raw Shea Deep Treatment Masque. Cover with a shower cap and leave it on for the time listed on the label. Watch a show, fold laundry, let it work.
Step 4: Rinse and seal in moisture
Rinse with cool or lukewarm water. On damp hair, apply a leave-in like Camille Rose Rosemary Oil Leave-In, then style or tie it up for the night.
Keep it easy
- Same day every week makes it a habit.
- Do not overload: a little product, spread well, beats a lot sitting on top.
- Satin scarf or bonnet at night protects all that moisture.

FAQ
How often should I deep condition?
Many people deep condition once a week or every wash day. If your hair feels soft and strong, you can stretch it; if it feels dry or brittle, stay consistent.
Do I need heat to deep condition?
Not required. A shower cap and some time helps, and gentle warmth can help some hair types. Follow the product directions.
Can kids use deep conditioner?
Yes, with a gentle product and a light hand. Rinse well and keep the routine simple.
Deep conditioner or leave-in: what is the difference?
Deep conditioner goes on after washing and gets rinsed out. Leave-in stays in to keep hair soft between wash days.
